Dr. Subash Acharya is a distinguished Nepali lawyer and academic, specializing in criminal law. An LL.M (Gold Medalist) and M.A. in English, he has received prestigious national honors including the Nepal Bidhyabhushan Padak ‘Kha’ (2075) and Prawal Janasewa Shree (Fourth Grade) (2076), both awarded by the President of Nepal. He also earned the Best Legal English Writing Award (2074).

He currently serves as Legal Consultant to institutions such as Nepal Police’s Welfare Fund, Nepal Tourism Board, and several private organizations. He is also a lecturer at Nepal Law Campus, Tribhuvan University, and a long-time visiting trainer at Nepal Police Academy.

Previously, he worked with the Nepal Army, Chaudhary Group, the Department of Money Laundering Investigation, and various international and national institutions in legal and consulting roles. His publications include the widely used Textbook on Criminal Law, as well as literary and critical works such as Critical Theories Since Plato and Days of His Death…. His legal scholarship includes articles on criminal law doctrines and narcotics legislation.
